He has more than 30 years' experience in the mining industry having held senior management roles in Australia, Portu- gal, Papua New Guinea and Saudi Arabia . Nautilus Minerals has appointed Gavin Vandervegt as acting chief financial officer and corporate secretary . He was previous- ly the company's group financial controller. Before joining Nautilus, he was finance di- rector of Katanga Mining . Australia's national re- source industry employer group, AMMA (Australian Mines and Metals Asso- ciation), has appointed experienced workplace relations and employment law practitioner Amanda Mansini to the role of director, workplace relations . She has previously worked within the Australian Industrial Relations Commission and for law firms Freehills and McCullough Robertson. Hatch has appointed Dale Harris as re- gional director for iron ore in Australia-Asia . He has a strong track record enhancing operations performance with Karara Mining, Rio Tinto and Gindalbie Metals . The compa- ny also recently appointed Damien Hard- ing as director Performance Innovation and Dr Walter Valery as global director of Min- ing and Mineral Processing Technology in Australia-Asia . Southern Arc Minerals announces that Vin- cent Boon, currently the company's con- troller, will succeed Danny Lee as chief financial officer. Markku Teräsvasara assumes the duties of Outotec CEO on October 1, 2016 . He transfers from Atlas Copco, where he led the Mining and Rock Excavation Service Di- vision in Sweden and previously the Surface Drilling Equipment Division based in China . PSG announces that Heather Graham has been appointed vice president of human re- sources . She was most recently the global human resources director for PetroTechnical Ser- vices at Schlumberger . Kingsrose Mining advises that Bill Phillips has re- tired as a director and an executive of the company . A founding direc- tor, he had been on the Board since 2005 . Richard Johnson has been appointed as a director of Crater Gold Mining . He serves as the company's PNG general manager and will continue in that role . Highfield Resources has appointed proven mine builder Peter Albert as new CEO to lead the transition from potash developer to a producer at its Muga potash mine in northern Spain . Broken Hill Prospecting has appointed An- thony (Trangie) Johnston as CEO in place of managing director Ian Pringle, who recently retired . Trangie was formerly CEO of KBL Mining .
